Second International Meeting in the Pilsen Region
(12–16 December 2012)
The second international meeting was held in the Pilsen Region in the first half of Decem-
ber. The Greek party sent out 8 persons (representing all partner Cretan organisations) to the
meeting. The main thrust of the meeting was to present the Pilsen Region as such and to visit
all partner organisations – the Regional Authority of the Pilsen Region, the Secondary Vocatio-
nal School and Vocational Training School in Horšovský Týn and the Children and Youth Centre
in Horažďovice. First, the Greek visitors were informed about the system of education in the Pil-
sen Region (and in the whole Czech Republic) as well as about a wide range of leisure activities
for children and youth. This was followed by a mutual exchange of information and knowledge
of environmental education and sustainable development. At the very end of the meeting,
the members of both project teams tentatively agreed on the date and agenda of the following
meeting.
