Fifth International Meeting on Crete
(5–9 May 2014)
The fifth international meeting was held in early May 2014 on Crete and was attended
by 12 persons from the Czech Republic (8 representatives of the Regional Authority of the Pilsen
Region, 3 representatives of the Secondary Vocational School and Vocational Training School
in Horšovský Týn and 1 representative of the Children and Youth Centre in Horažďovice).
The meeting focused mainly on projects in the centres of environmental education in Anogeia
and Archanes and within the accompanying programme, the participants visited the vocational
schools in Arkalohori and nursery schools in Gazi and Chania, sitting in on classes.
When visiting the School Life Museum in Chania, the participants met with the mayor of Chania
and journalists; the meeting was broadcasted by the Greek television.
